Grading of the walks

The club walks are graded as follows in accordance with their challenge.

Grade 1 – Tough / good level of fitness required (6 hours +)

Grade 2
– Strenuous / suitable for most regular walkers but tougher than (5 – 6 hours)

Grade 3 – Moderate / suitable for beginners if they have a reasonable level of general fitness (4 – 5 hours). Please note though that these walks are mostly off tracks and are across rough terrain and steep hills.

Tuesday Evening Walks
The walks on Tuesday evening last between one and a half and 2 hours and we met up at 7pm in various points.They range from local woods to Howth cliff walks to Bray and Dalkey. A lovely way to spend a summers evening with a quick pint after!
